Devotion Hall

a 3-month practice of coming home to yourself, weekly

September 22 - December 21

Devotion Hall is…

One group of people making a conscious commitment to steward whatever life is asking of them right now.
We flock together for a season, each tending to what is ours to tend.

13 weeks. One season.
One hour per week dedicated to pause, get your bearings, notice what’s asking for your attention, and choose where to put your energy. An anchor in your week to come back to yourself and your clarity.

+ 5 special workshops designed to explore the questions and challenges that naturally arise as we create, change, and stay with what matters.
Devotion Hall is
a practice of staying with yourself as things change and your life moves along.

devotion /dəˈvōSHən/
a deep, strong love, loyalty, or dedication to a person, activity, or cause.

In the season of life you’re in right now, what is asking for your devotion?

It’s a great responsibility to be the caretaker of ideas, dreams, plans, creations, and anything else that wants to come alive through you.

Much like a parent takes on the great responsibility of creating the conditions for a child to grow in a safe environment that supports their development, you - as a creative, entrepreneurial, forward-thinking, curious human being - have the great responsibility of creating conditions in which your ideas and unique slice of life can flourish.

We can’t just snap our fingers and poof it’s all here. How boring would that be? Sure, our ego might like to think that it’d be best if we woke up tomorrow morning and had it “all figured out.”

In my opinion, that’s not why you enrolled in Earth School.

You came here for the process.
You came here for the journey.
You came here to experience.

Respectfully…
The idea that you aren’t complete, good enough, or legit until you do the thing - is noise.
The idea that it’s too late to do the thing you want to do - is noise.
The idea that you should’ve or could’ve done things differently and now it’s all messed up - is noise.
The idea that you’re behind - is absolute noise.
You know this, deep down.

I know from the inside how paralyzing these beliefs can be. Devotion Hall is designed to provide some scaffolding for you and your particular cause to bud within.

Human beings are natural, so we will sync up with the higher intelligence of nature’s calendar. From the Fall Equinox to the Winter Solstice, you’ll log in once/week for an hour to remain tethered to whatever it is this season calls for.

The Experience:

Closing Session: Monday, December 21st at 7:00pm
On the night of Winter Solstice, we’ll gather intentionally one last time in our season to commemorate whatever we each just moved through.

This will look different for each of us, and that’s the beauty of this group. Our common denominator is not that we’re trying to all do the same thing. Respectively, life is requesting that we each pay attention to something important. Our common denominator is that we’re each choosing to intentionally say “yes, I will”.

It’s like Life is speaking your name during roll call. As you walk through the doors of Devotion Hall, you stand up with your shoulders back and respond “here!”

Devotion Hall is for those who:
- know in their bones they are here to do something big (spoiler alert: you are)
- have a project, idea, creation, business, etc. tapping them on the shoulder asking if they’ll bring it to life
- feel sick over the thought of getting so in their own way they don’t end up doing the thing
- have so many ideas sometimes they get overwhelmed and paralyzed
- tend to spend hours tinkering with their website or other things people may or may not see
- think they are behind, off-course, or late to life
- get jealous when they see other people being successful doing what they know they could do in their sleep
- have an inner narrative that can be a bit relentless at times
- spend a lot of time and energy getting ready to be ready

I have been every single one of these things to an excruciating degree. I get it. I really do understand and have deep reverence for anyone who resonates with these experiences and the suffering that comes along with it.

You are not alone, you didn’t miss your chance, there’s nothing wrong with you, and in-fact…you’re poised perfectly right now as you are. I mean that wholeheartedly. If you’re alive, breathing, and have a twinkle in your eye about something - that means you have every single thing you need to tend to what is knocking on the walls of your heart.

Devotion Hall is all about softening and strengthening the relationship you have to the thing you’re tending to in this season of life. I’m confident you will stumble on progress as a symptom of your devotion, because progressions is inevitable when you remain loyal, dedicated, and focused.

The intended outcome of this program is you…
- Fall in love with your process.
- Accept and respect your timing.
- Soften your inner narrative and self-perception.
- Give yourself evidence that you are capable of staying with what matters to you.
- Feel the pride in yourself for moving something forward that you very well could not have in another timeline. But you did. Because you stayed devoted.

Welcome to Devotion Hall.

We gather as a group to experience what it’s like to remain with ourselves, together - to reorient week after week to the thing we’re in service of. This commitment will give you intentional structure and hold you in a season while something meaningful takes shape.

“Meeting Cait and experiencing her work has become one of my life's greatest gifts. She helped me slow down and remember I am whole, in every stage. Her thoughtfulapproach allowed me to understand exactly where I was blocked and care for that area as garden to be nourished rather a wall to be demolished.”
- Joel B.

“Cait took the time to really listen to what I was feeling, reflect it back to me in a way that made me feel seen and at home in my own life. She reminded me of the bigger picture and helped ground my energy back to a place of safety. There is something very special about the way Cait holds space and shares her wisdom.”
- Carley H.

“Cait made me feel comfortable and understood right away. It felt ok that I didn't have a real plan or goal to hand her with our session. It was a safe place to be a bit messy. I didn't have to come to her with a plan, just a desire to see what happens, and that was enough!”
- Mary D.

“I was working on my first large scale solo public art installation for a festival when I first reached out to Cait. I wanted to leverage that opportunity to launch a more business-focused approach to my art. I was seeking clarity on what that might look like and how I might go about it. It only took a few sessions for Cait to help me realize it wasn't the right time for a shift like that. After meeting with Cait I felt a lot more peace about the journey I was on, seeing that this is a marathon and not a sprint.

She also helped me realize that the community I've been cultivating around my art is a much more authentic representation of who I am than a good social media campaign can ever be. Helping people connect with each other through shared artistic experiences was something I cared about already but it's now one of my guiding principles.

I don't think I'll ever be done figuring out who I am as an artist but I have a much better idea now. I worked with Cait at a time where I still had a lot of basics to figure out and she really helped move that journey forward. It wasn't the outcome I'd been looking for but it was the one I needed. These sessions are great for people finding themselves at a crossroads of an interpersonal nature. For people who are going through changes and want confidence and clarity with the direction they're headed.

And actually, I did send a friend to Cait and he was very glad I did. Trust your gut. If you find yourself on the fence then you've already felt the need for an experienced guide and helper. If you're like me, the thought of not doing right by the opportunities that life has presented is a tough one. Even the most capable of people can use guidance that leads them to a destination quicker and less painfully than they could have managed on their own.
